Veterans are invited to join us for a weekend of ice fishing, ice golfing, food and camaraderie in Fife Lake, Michigan on January 30th through February 2nd. A lodge has been generously donated for the weekend, with limited overnight space available. Please register below.

Overnight lodging

• Overnight spots are limited and require staying both Friday and Saturday nights

• You do not need to stay overnight to participate in the weekend activities

• If you’d like to reserve a lodge spot, please note this on the registration below.

Whether you stay overnight or just join for the day, you’re welcome to come and go as needed throughout the weekend.

What to Bring

• Valid Michigan fishing license - you can buy a license online or in-store. Visit the Michigan DNR website for more details.

• Warm clothing

• Fishing gear is provided if you need it

Lodge Location & Directions

11007 West Drive, Fife Lake, MI 49633
The cabin is located on the southwest side of Fife Lake, tucked behind two islands.

Directions:

1. Take US-131 to Lakeshore Dr

2. Turn onto Lakeshore Dr. (one-way road)

3. Drive 1.1 miles until you see a small West Dr. street sign

   • (If you reach a boat ramp, you’ve gone about ¼ mile too far)

4. Turn left onto West Dr. and look for the 22 2 NONE flag

5. Follow the dirt road/driveway for ¼ mile

6. Cross a small bridge leading to the cabin

7. After the bridge, stay left and follow “Guest Parking” signs about 100 feet past the bridge

8. Enter the house through the door under the overhang

Weekend Itinerary

Friday – January 30

• Arrive at the lodge any time after 10:00 AM

• Ice fishing on Fife Lake throughout the day

• 1:00 PM: Off-ice grazing lunch

• Afternoon fishing or downtime

• 7:00 PM: Dinner at the lodge

Saturday – January 31

• 8:00 AM: Depart for Lake Mitchell or Lake Cadillac (Cadillac area)

  • Meet-up location will be posted one week prior to the event

• Full day of ice fishing

• Off-ice chili lunch

• Return to the ice in the afternoon

• 7:00 PM: Steak dinner at the lodge

Sunday – February 1

• Arrive any time after 8:00 AM

• Morning ice fishing and ice golfing on Fife Lake

• 12:00 PM: Lunch at the lodge

• 3:00 PM: Depart for Long Lake for afternoon/evening fishing

Monday – February 2

• Clean-up and departure
