Join us with Michigan artist Sister 2 Sister Henna & Botanicals for a Dot Mandala Workshop.

In this class we will learn the basic steps on how to create a Dot Mandala onto smooth stones using acrylic paints and dotting tools. No experience is necessary! Visual examples and a selection of patterns will be available to help with the painting process. All materials will be provided, and your completed Mandala stones can be taken home to enjoy!

Humans have always been drawn to and fascinated by circular designs. A great example of that is the Mandala. Considered to be of Eastern origin, Mandala is a Sanskrit word that translates to "circle". In today's world the process of creating a Mandala is used for its calming and relaxing effect on the mind and body. When we unplug from our electronics to sit quietly and paint circular and symmetrical shapes, our creativity begins to naturally flow, and we enter a meditative state.

For direct questions about the workshop itself, you can reach out to our instructor Amy at sister2sisterhenna@gmail.com.
